This course is like no other. Singing well is a balance between having a healthy vocal technique, knowing how to use your skill sets, developing a strong performance mindset and communicating emotion.

Unlock Your VoiceIntroduction

This course has the perfect balance of bespoke 1-to-1 lessons, online masterclasses giving you the tools to improve your own repertoire which can be viewed at a time that suits you and finally, an opportunity to showcase what you have learnt in an online Performance Class with other participants, in a supportive and constructive environment.

Course Elements

1-to-1 Lessons

1-to-1 lessons allow me to focus on your voice and identify the areas where progress can be made, using tailor-made vocal exercises, allowing you to develop and build a healthy, reliable and skilled vocal technique.

Masterclasses

Masterclasses can be viewed in your own time and indeed watched as many times as you feel necessary for you. Each masterclass will have a key focus point which will help you unlock your vocal and performance potential. There is a downloadable workbook for each focus point and an emphasis on how to implement your new-found knowledge into your own repertoire, which is what most other online courses fail to do. This will help you to become self-aware and will greatly assist in addressing your vocal challenges as they arise in choral rehearsals, performances, folk sessions or any other setting.

Performance Class

The Performance Class gives you the opportunity to test out what you have learnt with other participants of the online course in a supportive and constructive environment. You will receive individual feedback and also learn from watching others. We will build on your artistic and communication skills so that you can make an impact upon an audience.

Alison McNeill has performed as a soloist with orchestras, International festivals with award winning folk rock band Reely Jiggered, and is also a conductor of National choirs. Her knowledge and experience make her one of the best teachers of her generation.
